For FireFox:

1. Open a new Firefox window (hold down the ctrl key and press n). In the address bar of the new window, type:

  • about:config

Press the enter key. In the filter box, type:

  • codebase

There should now be only one line (or possibly just a few lines) in the large box below the filter box. If the last column in the line

  • signed.applets.codebase_principal_support

is "true", go to the step 2. Otherwise, if it is "false", double click on it. It will change to "true".

2. Right-click anywhere in the large lower box. A menu will pop up. Select New > String from the menu. Copy or type the following into the box that pops up:

  • capability.policy.default.XMLHttpRequest.open

Press OK. Copy or type the following into the box that pops up:

  • allAccess

Press OK. You may now close the new Firefox window.

3. In the original Firefox window, press the "Reload" button on the toolbar after you've finished reading the following instructions (since they will disappear after you press Reload). Enter your keywords and press the "Generate domain names" button. If an Internet Security box pops up, click the "Remember this decision" checkbox and then press Allow. If you prefer, you can leave the checkbox unchecked, but then the Internet Security box will pop up each time this page requests data from the web, and you will need to click the Allow button in the box for every request.
